The Riverside’s restaurant uses local suppliers to offer an extensive menu from around the region. For instance, our evening restaurant offers the best fish and shellfish available off the Cornwall and Devon coast. Third generation family business Matthew Stevens & Son [St Ives] supply the restaurant with fish. Additionally, Boscastle being on the coast makes the restaurant’s availability of fish and shellfish even more special – local fisherman often arrive to hand over any catch during the season. Daily specials reflecting seasonal availability from our fisherman and butchers add to our offering.

Our 80 seater tea garden is situated overlooking the River Valency surrounded by beautiful countryside. Therefore take time to relax and have a homemade Cornish cream tea, lunch or dinner while listening to the water rush by.
We have a great selection of Cornish beers, ales and ciders. To add to our house wines, our extensive wine list is also available in the garden and small bar.
Sunday Carvery – adults £8.95 and children £5.95
We offer a choice of four local meats and up to seven fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy. Due to its popularity, we offer four sittings: 12:00pm, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 2:30pm. It is best to book early to avoid disappointment. We always have on offer a cut of topside beef, shoulder of pork, breast of turkey and gammon ham.
