New season, new flavours – the Winter menu has arrived

As the evenings draw in and Boscastle settles into its winter rhythm, our chefs have been hard at work creating a menu that celebrates the comfort, warmth, and flavour of the season. The Winter Evening Menu is now being served from 6pm each night — and it’s filled with hearty favourites, coastal classics, and indulgent winter treats.

Start your evening with something to warm the spirit. Our Spiced Winter Secco brings subtle hints of cinnamon and cloves, while the Sea Breeze Squid Gin with cranberry and lime delivers a refreshing kick that pairs perfectly with the cooler months.

From homemade soup of the day to our signature seafood chowder, every starter is crafted with care and local produce in mind. For something to share, try our baked Cornish brie with rosemary and garlic oil, or mix and match from our new nibbles menu – 3 for £20. The heart of our winter menu brings together comfort and creativity. Whether you’re after a rich, warming stew or something from the sea, every dish is cooked to order with local ingredients and a touch of Riverside flair. No winter menu would be complete without a little indulgence. Treat yourself to a white chocolate and mint cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, or our apple and cinnamon crumble served warm with custard. For something lighter, the poached pears in mulled wine are a must-try.
