We’re no longer cooking on gas… 🔥
Hello. We have sent you a text message on Friday 21st August 2026 regarding an upcoming reservation in the restaurant.
During our routine gas safety inspection, our engineer identified a fault with our gas regulator. Until this is repaired, the gas appliances in our kitchen are temporarily out of use.
Our kitchen normally operates with a mixture of gas and electric hobs and ovens, so we still have a fully functioning electric side of the kitchen – just considerably less cooking capacity! We have therefore reduced the number of bookings we are taking to match the equipment available, rather than compromise on the food or service we provide.
Our evening and Sunday Carvery services will continue broadly as normal, although you may find the restaurant a little quieter than usual.
Your booking remains confirmed and we’re looking forward to welcoming you. We simply wanted to be open about the situation before you arrive.
